I did but I'll download it again to make sure I got the new version.

As a part of the fix we added a unit test that passes. It demonstrates that in your configuration the cluster starts up under two seconds:

DistrbutedCacheonixBug415Test

I understand it's not a big help if it doesn't work for you. In this case we need more digging.

Understood.

I downloaded the jar file again but I'm still seeing the same problem. Is there anything I can do to help debug this?

Thanks

I'm definitely using version 681:

Version v = Version.getVersion();
System.out.println("Version: " + v.toString());

Version: Cacheonix 2.0.i 20130211002754 16976 build 681

Can you try to enable the debug logging level in Cacheonix config and post the output?

CPU usage raises 100% and no data replication between nodes

Postby ricki-ticki-tavy » Fri Feb 22, 2013 8:26 am

Hi.
Sorry for my english.
I have the same problems: CPU usage raises 100% (one core) and memory usage grows up to maximum. Cache is working fine. But if I trying to use Cacheonix in cluster (on glassfish server 3.2), there is no data replication beetwen nodes. CPU usage raises 100% too. nodes are located in separate computers.

OS: mountain leopard, and linux redHat6.3
Java: 1.7 64bit

My config:

<?xml version ="1.0"?>

here must be cacheonix dtd.

<tempDir path="${java.io.temp}"/>
<server>

<cluster homeAloneTimeout="30s" clusterAnnouncementTimeout="500ms" clusterSurveyTimeout="10s" worstCaseLatency="30s"/>

<listener>
<tcp port="58879" buffer="512k"/>
</listener>

<broadcast>
<multicast multicastAddress="225.0.1.2" multicastPort="59998" multicastTTL="1"/>
</broadcast>

<partitionedCache name="account.cache">
<store>
<lru maxElements="10000" maxBytes="10mb"/>
<expiration idleTime="3600s"/>
<!--<replication replicaCount="2"/>-->
</store>
</partitionedCache>

</server>
</cacheonix>

========================================================

init cache :

public static void initCache(){
cacheonix = Cacheonix.getInstance();
cluster = cacheonix.getCluster();
cache = cacheonix.getCache("account.cache");
}

=============================================================

put and get data:

public String getValue(){
return (String)BillingBeanImpl.cache.get(key);
}

public void setValue(String value){
BillingBeanImpl.cache.put(key, value);
}

Hi Dmitriy,

1. What Cacheonix version are you using?

2. How do you determine that there is no replication?

Hi Svyatoslav&
Thank you for your answer via email.
I'm using latests version of Cacheonix Cacheonix 2.0.i 20130211002754 16976 build 681.
How do I determine that there is no replication? I put String object to cache in node1 and trying to retrieve it in node2. But it doesn't working. Sample attached in my previous post.

Dmitriy,

Thanks.

Could you please enable the debug logging in Cacheonix, collect the console output and send it to simeshev@cacheonix.com
